Finding the right bodyguard

When you think of bodyguards, you think of high class celebrities and rich people. However, you would be surprised at how often and how many people require a bodyguard at some point in their lives and careers. Even something as simple as holding an office position may require a bodyguard. But how do you pick the right one?
Bodyguards provide you with the personal service of, obviously, protecting you from harm. Their job details usually require going with you wherever you go, as danger can strike anywhere. Bodyguards will talk and offer advice if you request it of them, even though this is not a part of their job description.
There are things to keep in mind when searching for the right bodyguard. A good bodyguard is one who will protect you and aid you in all situations. Although it’s their job to be protective, they should respect your privacy. You don’t want a bodyguard that is overprotective, as this can be counterproductive. If you are a celebrity or famous individual, you do not want a bodyguard who is obsessed with you. This can be very counterproductive, and can even turn dangerous. Sometimes it is better if bodyguards and “bodies” are of the same sex to avoid gender conflict.
Everyone has their personnal preferences. Plan ahead of time what qualities you want in your bodyguard.
